About Whitey Somers
Guitarist, Singer, Songwriter
Since the age of 16, Motorhome Records recording artist, guitarist, singer, songwriter Whitey Somers has been performing to appreciative audiences from clubs to festivals. A well seasoned performer that can hit all the right notes.
Having lived in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia and now residing in Shaunavon Saskatchewan Whitey’s songs are a reflection of life and times through Canadian eyes.
A journeyman with a lifetime of stories.
He’s placed in numerous album charts and songwriting competitions over the years, most recently winning the "Road To Memphis" challenge in Saskatoon, going on to represent the Saskatoon Blues Society at The International Blues Challenge in Memphis in January 2026.
